Urokinase (uPA), human, HMW

Description
Urokinase also called urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA) is a serine protease. It was originally isolated from human urine, but is present in several physiological locations, such as blood stream and the extracellular matrix.

Preparation
The product was isolated from human urine. It is high molecular weight urokinase (HMW-uPA) with a molecular weight of approx. 54 kDa.

Purity
>85% high molecular weight uPA (54 kDa) determined via SDS-PAGE analysis under non-reducing conditions.

Presentation
10,000 IE (ADG100) or 250,000 IE (ADG102) of sterile Urokinase lyophilized from phosphate buffer pH 6.5 – 7.5 containing human albumin as carrier.

Storage
Store at 2 - 8°C. After reconstitution store at -20°C.
It is recommended to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
