murine MAb against human a1-Antithrypsin, clone HD-AT 1
Description
alpha-1 proteinase inhibitor (A1PI) is a serine protease inhibitor (serpin) inhibiting a wide variety of proteases. It is a 52 kDa glycoprotein also known as alpha1-antitrypsin (A1AT) or serum trypsin inhibitor.
It protects tissues from enzymes of inflammatory cells, especially elastase, It is present in human blood, the concentration can rise manyfolds upon acute inflammation.
Properties
The antibody recognizes free alpha-1 proteinase inhibitor as well as PMN-elastase/ alpha-1 proteinase inhibitor complexes.
Preparation
The monoclonal antibody ADG0034L (clone HD‐AT 1) is a murine monoclonal antibody, subclass IgG1 recognizing the human α1-antitrypsin. Mice were immunized with purified native human α1-antitrypsin. The antibody has been purified from cell culture supernatant using Protein G affinity chromatography.
Presentation
Screw capped vial containing 1 mg of purified antibody in PBS pH 7.4. The IgG concentration is given on the vial label. Spin the vial briefly before opening.
Storage and Stability
Store the antibody at 2°-8°C. For long-term storage the antibody should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C or colder. It is recommended to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
