murine MAb against human membrane associated protein 17 (MAP17), clone HD-pKe 192 2.1
Description
MAP17 is a 17-kd membrane-associated protein. In normal tissues, MAP17 is expressed in significant amounts only in the kidney, where it was localized to the proximal tubular epithelial cells. (5) However, MAP17 is expressed abundantly in epithelial carcinomas arising from kidney, colon, lung, and breast (2, 4) and dermatological diseases. (1,3)
Preparation
The monoclonal antibody ADG0014 (clone HD-pKe 192 2.1) is a murine monoclonal antibody, subclass IgG1 recognizing the human MAP17 protein. Mice were immunized with recombinant MAP17. The antibody has been purified from cell culture supernatant using Protein G affinity chromato-graphy.
Presentation
Screw capped vial containing 250 µg of purified antibody in PBS pH 7.4 + 0.01% ProClin300. The IgG concentration is given on the vial label. Spin the vial briefly before opening.
Storage and Stability
Store the antibody at 2°-8°C. For long-term storage the antibody should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C or colder. It is recommended to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Applications (3)
• Western-Blot
• Immunohistology
• Immunocytology
