Kininogen deficient human plasma
Preparation
Kininogen Deficient Plasma is manufactured from pooled normal human plasma depleted of Kininogen using antibodies directed to Kininogen.
Application
For research assays of Kininogen antigen and functionality as a negative control and for dilution of standards and test samples.
Warnings and Precautions
The plasma is prepared from screened normal citrated human plasma that have been tested and found negative for HBsAg, RPR and antibodies to HIV and HCV and non-reactive for HIV-1 RNA and HCV RNA by FDA-approved methods.
As no known test method can provide complete assurance that products derived from human blood will not transmit HBsAg, HCV, HIV-1, HIV-2 or other blood-borne pathogens, this reagent should be handled as recommended for any potentially infectious human specimen.
Presentation
Set of 5 clear, screw-capped vials each containing 1 mL of frozen deficient plasma. The plasma contains 20 mM HEPES.
Preparation and Handling
Thaw 1 ml vials in 37 °C water bath for 5 min.
Storage and Stability
Plasma is shipped frozen and should be stored at below - 70 °C. Product is stable until the date stated on vial label when stored at -70 °C. Once thawed, plasma is stable for 4 hours at 2-8 °C in original vial.
