murine Mab against human Thrombomodulin
Description
The monoclonal antibody ADG2375 (clone 71-43B, subclass IgG1) is a murine monoclonal antibody recognizing human Thrombomodulin.
Mice were immunized with native human Thrombomodulin (MW 75 kDa). The antibody has been purified from cell culture supernatant using Protein G affinity chromatography.
Properties
The antibody reacts with the EGF1 – EGF2 region of thrombomodulin. No cross reactivity observed with other known human coagulation proteins at 10- fold excess concentration.
Presentation
Screw capped vial containing 250 µg of purified antibody in PBS pH 7.4, 0.01 % ProClin300. The IgG concentration is 1 mg/ml. Spin the vial briefly before opening.
Storage and Stability
Store the antibody at 2°-8°C. For long-term storage the antibody should be aliquoted and stored at
-20°C or colder. It is recommended to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Applications
A. Western Blot Analysis
The antibody recognizes human thrombomodulin under non-reducing conditions at a primary concentration of 5 μg/ml.
B. Flow Cytometry
The antibody is useful for measuring thrombomodulin expressed on human ovarian cancer cells via flow cytometry. Pre-absorption of the antibody with soluble thrombomodulin will completely prevent binding of the antibody to thrombomodulin.
